The Bible
The Holy Scriptures are the only sufficient, certain, and infallible rule of all saving knowledge, faith, and obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Creation
In the beginning God, for the manifestation of His glory, created the world, and all things therein, whether visible or invisible, in the space of six days, and all very good.
God
The Lord our God is the one, only living and true God—eternal, infinite in being and perfection, unchangeable in His wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness, and truth. He is one in essence and exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in power and glory, the triune God worthy of all worship and obedience.
The Fall
Our first parents, Adam and Eve, sinned by disobeying God’s command, thereby falling from their original righteousness and intimate fellowship with Him. As a result, sin and death entered the world and have been passed down to all their descendants.
Jesus
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, fulfilled the law, and died as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of His people. He rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and now reigns as our Prophet, Priest, and King. One day, He will return to judge the living and the dead and to bring His Kingdom to full completion.
Salvation
Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. By His own blood, Christ secured eternal redemption for His people. Through faith, believers are united to Christ and receive the benefits of regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification. There is no salvation apart from personal trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, fully God and at work in applying the salvation accomplished by Christ. He regenerates hearts, indwells every believer, and sanctifies us by producing spiritual growth and obedience. Through the Word, sacraments, and prayer, the Spirit strengthens our faith and equips us to live for God’s glory.
The Church
The church is the visible community of baptized believers who have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and united to Christ by faith. It is called to worship God, proclaim the gospel, administer the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and discipline its members according to Scripture. As the bride of Christ, the church exists to glorify God by building up the body of believers and making disciples of all nations.
Last Things
Christ will visibly and bodily return to judge all humanity, reward His people with eternal life, and establish the new heaven and new earth where God’s perfect Kingdom will reign forever.
