Meet Our Pastors & Deacons

Pastor Wes Carpenter

Pastor Wes has been serving WRBC as the Senior Pastor since June 2024. He has served the Lord faithfully in ministry around the world for more than 15 years. He is married to his wife Emma and they have four beautiful children. Pastor Wes holds degrees from Christopher Newport University (B.A. Computer Engineering), College of Willam and Mary (MBA), Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv) and is working towards his Doctorate in Practical Theology (PhD) from Liberty University.

Pastor Roger Lee

Pastor Roger and his wife Kenna have been faithful members of WRBC for over a decade. He leads various community outreach ministries including supporting our homebound church members, the VA Care Home, and local Crib Ministry.

Deacon – Mr. Allen Booth

Mr. Booth and his family are founding members of WRBC. With his wife Linda by his side, he has faithfully served as Chairman of the Deacons for our congregation for many years.

Deacon – Mr. Josh Kelley

Mr. Kelley and his wife Melissa are faithful members of our church family. Josh serves as our Director of Children’s Ministry and his wife Melissa serves as our church pianist.

Deacon – Mr. Korey Hines

Mr. Hines and his wife Sarah are dedicated members of our church family, serving as teachers in our Children’s ministry and serving other areas of our church.
